German EOP to build agrarian objects in Zhytomyr region.

KYIV, February 1 /UKRINFORM/. The German company European Oil Products BioDiesel AG will construct in Ukraine a number of agrarian objects.

As many as 509 M. EUR will be invested into the project. The local authorities have already clinched a deal on intentions, the Zhytomyr Regional Administration Economic Department Deputy Chief Vasyl Volobuyev said.

The products will be mainly exported, he sad.

The EOP Biodiesel, which is a leading player on the market of biofuel announced about plans to fulfill the project in Ukraine within 1,5 years.

A number of projects on construction of biofuel plants are a common place in the entire Ukraine, EOP Biodiesel AG Director Sven Shen said.

Investors are attracted to Ukraine's potential. According to preliminary data the 2008 rape crop will amount to 2.1 to 2.2 M. tons, which is by 95% to 100% more year-over-year.
