Russian, German cos to build 35 mln euro biodisel plant in Volgograd Reg

VOLGOGRAD, Jan 21 (Prime-Tass)—Russian agricultural company Rusagroproekt's unit Tersa Oil concluded an agreement January 18 with Germany's Abako Management & Corporation to build a 35 million euro rapeseed processing and biodiesel production plant in the Volgograd Region, the regional government said late January 18.

The plant will have a capacity of processing 160,000 tonnes of rapeseed per year and it is expected to produce 60,000 tonnes of biodiesel per year.

The companies plan to start construction in September. No date for the completion of construction was provided.
