Ukraine planning to produce biodiesel from microalgaeUkrainian National News Agency KYIV, March 4 /UKRINFORM/. Ukrainian scientists will continue working on a project to produce biodiesel from microalgae, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has reported. Experts from the national agency for ensuring the effective use of energy resources are currently working on a feasibility study for this project, the press service said. The experts calculated that spending on the use of standard energy resources, in the structure of the prime cost of products, is gradually growing. As a result, last year's water distribution services grew in price by 14.3%, cargo transportation by rail transport by 30.88%, gas transportation services by 8.28%, sugar production services by 17.8%, and services on the production of wheat and wheat-and-rye flour by13.5%.
As earlier reported, the national agency for ensuring the effective use of energy resources is planning to introduce a new system of assessing expenditures on energy resources for production.
