CEO: Rostekhnologii to resume biofuel proj in Irkutsk Reg by Jun

MOSCOW, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- Russia's state-owned industrial company Rostekhnologii plans to resume the implementation of a project to build a biofuel plant in the Irkutsk Region by June, the company's CEO Sergei Chemezov said, RIA Novosti reported on January 2.

No information on the investments for the project was made available. However, over 500 million rubles were invested prior to the project's suspension in 2009 following the advent of the global economic crisis.

The plant is expected to be built in the regional town of Tulun, while using the production facilities of the Tulun Hydrolysis Plant to produce wood scraps.
