German company may launch biogas production in Voronezh Region

Verbio is one of the leading independent producers and suppliers of biofuels and the only industrial-scale producer of biodiesel, bioethanol and biogas in Europe. The company plans to supply biogas produced in the central Russian Voronezh Region to Germany.

Investment in the project may amount to as much as €40mn.

VORONEZH. Voronezh Region Governor Alexei Gordeyev met with Claus Sauter, CEO of German biofuels producer Verbio, to discuss its project to produce biogas at the regional Russian-German company EkoNiva
