Home / Bioethanol / News Nizhniy Novgorod to witness enterprise for bioethanol productionRegion-Inform An enterprises for bioethanol production — ecologically friendly, high-antiknock fuel (raw materials for which renewed natural resources: grain crops, potato, sugar beet, and also straw and even bushes) could become perspective for development of Nizhniy Novgorod's agriculture and economy. Governor Valeriy Shantsev has said at a government session taken place on Tuesday, the region's head has agreed that Nizhniy Novgorod region will be included into the pilot project on «green gasoline» production implemented by the country's federal government. The first application for placing of the new, having no analogues in Russia, production has been made by Pochinkovskiy area (but only in an oral form yet), authorities of which at their own risk have already carried on negotiations with investors. Arrangements have not been reached in a private order. Perhaps, they will be made with the region government's assistance.
