The international workshop ‘Biofuel - a New Market Niche', Riga, Latvia, 13th - 14th of March'

Biofuels production and consumption volumes continue to rise rapidly in many countries of the world. Every year sees dozens of bioplants commissioned in Europe, and biomass suppliers all over the globe are increasing their exports. And yet the majority of companies, which decide to develop this area of business, face numerous questions:

• Is building a bioplant profitable?
• How to reach the desired product quality?
• Where to find a suitable buyer?
• What price quotations are used for pricing a product?
• How to select best and quality equipment?
• Should extra investors be involved and on what terms?

The workshop will focus on case studies reflecting relevant experience of companies from Europe, the Baltic, and Russia. The event is interactive, which provides for effective experience exchange between expert speakers and the delegates — owners of operating bioplants and those under construction, investors, biomass and equipment suppliers.
