Cabinet initiates no import duty for biofuel equipment

KYIV, September 23 /UKRINFORM/. The Cabinet of Ministers announced plans to cancel import duty for the equipment brought in to promote the development of production and consumption of biofuel. A relevant draft document was elaborated by the Agrarian Policy Ministry.

The explanatory note says that adoption of the draft resolution will create conditions for faster introduction of investment projects on the construction and renovation of objects to produce biofuel in Ukraine and will help reduce Ukraine's dependence on the imports of oil and oil products through increasing the number of technical and transport means that consume biofuel.
