Distilleries will produce industrial alcohol and biofuel
KYIV, March 10 /UKRINFORM/. Ukrainian distilleries, besides the production of drinking alcohol, will also produce industrial alcohol and biofuel. This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food, Mykola Bezuhly.

"Distilleries are facing a serious reform. In addition to the production of drinking alcohol, which loads our distilleries only 24%, the Ministry developed a large program of technical spirits and biofuels production. This will increase alcohol production in Ukraine by 2.5 times," he said.

On top Bezuhly noted that the Ivashky distillery in Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine) is one of the plants that will only produce industrial alcohol for the needs of the chemical industry.
